The Youth Ambassador Programme, delivered in partnership with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) as part of the Festival of Hope, is a global online initiative that supports young people driving social impact.

The programme empowers participants to develop and grow projects that respond to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within their communities and beyond.

Aim

At its core, the programme helps young changemakers understand the SDGs and translate them into practical, community-led action.

Participants explore global challenges, learn from existing impact initiatives and shape their own responses through collaboration, reflection and shared learning with peers from around the world.

Programme benefits

Participants who successfully complete the programme receive a Certificate of Completion jointly issued by HundrED and IBO.

Beyond certification, Youth Ambassadors gain access to mentorship opportunities, inspirational speakers and long-term connections with socially driven young people across diverse countries and contexts.

Who can participate

The programme is open to young people with an interest in social impact and global development. Suitable applicants include:

  • Youth working on or exploring social impact ideas.

  • Young people interested in the SDGs and community-level change.

  • Applicants comfortable engaging in English.

No prior project experience is required—only curiosity, openness and motivation to learn.

Programme structure

Youth Ambassadors participate in a supportive online learning environment featuring workshops, webinars and interactive discussions.

Engagement takes place through a dedicated MOOC and a closed Discord community, where participants exchange ideas, ask questions and build meaningful global connections in a safe and inclusive space.

Deadline

The application deadline is January 13, 2026. Interested candidates can apply via the HundrED website. Explore our Opportunities page for more international youth initiatives.
