The Strategic International Collaborative Research Program is now accepting applications for its 2025 Africa-Japan Collaborative Research (AJ-CORE).
The cohort programme supports joint research and innovation projects in defined science fields between researchers from Japan and 18 African countries whose ministries and granting councils are participating members in the Science Granting Councils Initiative (SGCI).
The countries include Botswana, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
