The iF Design Award is an international design competition that offers students and recent graduates a platform to showcase bold, future-focused ideas to a global audience.
Focus
The award recognises concepts that address urgent global and social challenges through design.
Rather than focusing solely on aesthetics, the programme places strong emphasis on problem-solving, ethical responsibility, social relevance and meaningful user experiences. Successful entries demonstrate how design ideas can create real-world impact while remaining practical and feasible.
The award is tailored for emerging designers who want their concepts to respond to real-life challenges and reflect the standards of professional design practice.
Funding details
Selected winners share a total prize fund of USD 54,000, distributed by the jury.
Award recipients also receive the iF Winner Logo, a digital certificate, and long-term publication on the iF Design website. Additional benefits include exhibition showcases in Taipei and other cities, as well as global visibility through iF’s public relations and social media channels.
