About the Fellowship
The Forrest Postdoctoral Fellowship, hosted by the University of Western Australia, seeks to transform Western Australia into a global hub for groundbreaking research and innovation.
Fellows will hold the fellowship alongside an employment contract at a Western Australian university, with part of their responsibilities dedicated to the Forrest Research Foundation’s mission. This includes leadership, mentorship, and community engagement at Forrest Hall.
The fellowship is a full-time, three-year position, contingent on satisfactory academic progress.
Eligibility Criteria

Have had their PhD conferred on or after January 1, 2023, or expect to complete all PhD requirements by December 31, 2025.
