The 2025 THRIVE Global Impact Challenge is now open, inviting innovative startups from around the world to present cutting-edge solutions aimed at transforming the future of agriculture.
Organized by SVG Ventures THRIVE, the challenge is a global search for early-stage agri-food tech innovators addressing some of the most pressing challenges in food and agriculture systems.

Benefits for Finalists
Three finalists will be selected from each theme to pitch their solutions at the THRIVE Global Impact Summit in Silicon Valley. Each finalist will receive:

Exposure to top industry leaders during Virtual Pitch Day

A dedicated booth at the startup showcase during the summit
The overall winner will receive the THRIVE Global Impact Challenge Award and an investment of up to $1 million USD from SVG Ventures.
Eligibility Criteria

Stage: Open to startups and entrepreneurs at the Seed to Series A stage.

Global Reach: Open to applicants from any country or region—diverse perspectives and global collaboration are highly valued.

Theme Alignment: Startups must align with one or more of the six challenge themes, offering innovative solutions to key industry challenges.

Environmental Impact: While not mandatory, preference will be given to applicants demonstrating measurable impact on sustainability, carbon reduction, biodiversity, or other environmental metrics.

The 2025 THRIVE Global Impact Challenge is open for innovative startups worldwide to present agriculture-transforming solutions. Eligibility extends to Seed to Series A startups globally, with alignment to challenge themes required. Although not obligatory, preference is given to entries showcasing measurable environmental impact. Key dates include the application deadline on May 25, 2025, and subsequent reviews and pitch events concluding with a live pitch event on October 30, 2025. Startups are encouraged to apply to make significant contributions to agriculture and sustainability.
