The Renaissance African Energy Company (Renaissance), operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV), is inviting applications for its 2025 university scholarship programme.
The NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship is designed to foster academic excellence and enhance the capacity of young Nigerians. It offers an annual grant of ₦200,000 to successful applicants for the duration of their undergraduate studies.
Scholarship Categories
The programme offers two award categories:

National Merit Award (NM): Open to all eligible Nigerian undergraduates.

Areas of Operation Merit Award: For students who are indigenes of Renaissance’s operational communities in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates will receive ₦200,000 per year until graduation.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be Nigerian citizens.

Be full-time undergraduates at an accredited university in Nigeria.

Be in 200 Level as of the 2023/2024 academic session.

Not be receiving any other scholarship from oil and gas companies or related organisations.
Required Documents
Applicants must upload clearly named JPEG files (max size: 200KB each) of the following:

One recent passport photograph (white background, max. 3 months old, 450×450 px).

Valid student ID card.

University or JAMB admission letter (UTME or Direct Entry).

JAMB result.
-
100 Level academic transcript (2023/2024).

State of origin certificate showing local government of origin.
Additional documents for Operational Area Awards:

Letter of identification signed and stamped by:

The Paramount Ruler of the applicant’s community, and
-
The chairperson of the Community Development Committee (CDC) or Community Executive Council (CEC).
