Tinubu beats PDP, LP in Niger

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the APC, has been declared the winner of the presidential election in Nigeria’s north-central state of Niger.

With 375,183 votes, Tinubu stood ahead of his closest oppnonet, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, who came second with 284,898 votes.

The Niger State INEC collation officer, Clement Alawa, announced that the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi, came third with 80,452 votes while that of the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, got 21,836 votes to emerge fourth.

Bola Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate, has won the presidential election in Nigeria's north-central state of Niger.

Tinubu secured 375,183 votes, surpassing his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, who garnered 284,898 votes.
