As results of the February 25 presidential elections continue to trickle in, it is still uncertain who will win the election. However, INEC has declared the winners in 11 states.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party has won only two of those states: Enugu and Lagos. The two states have given him a combined total of 1 009 094 (over a million) votes. He got 582,454 from Lagos and 428,640 from Enugu.

In Lagos, Obi used a slim margin of 9,848 to beat Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who polled 572,606 to come second, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party scored 75,750 to come a distant third.

In Enugu, the difference between Obi’s votes and the second-polled candidate, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, is as wide as 428,640, meaning Atiku scored just 15,749.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi and his supporters are alledging heavy election rigging in favour of Tinubu in some parts of the country, particularly Lagos and Rivers states.
