The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has commenced the collation of the presidential election results for Anambra State at the INEC’s State headquarters, Awka.
The LG collation officers collated results from local governments under the supervision of the vice-chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Prof. Nnenna Oti, who is the collation officer for the state in respect of the presidential poll.
Below are the results from the first two LGAs and scores by six major political parties – All Progressives Congress(APC), Labour Party (LP), New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), People’s Democratic Party(PDP), All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and Young Progressive Party (YPP).

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun collating results of the presidential election in Anambra State at their headquarters in Awka, supervised by Prof. Nnenna Oti from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
The initial results from two Local Government Areas (LGAs) have been announced:
Dunukofia LGA: Out of 20,198 total votes cast (with 77,138 registered voters and 20,406 accredited voters), the Labour Party (LP) leads with 18,715 votes, followed by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) with 428 votes, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) with 290 votes, the All Progressives Congress (APC) with 222 votes, Young Progressive Party (YPP) with 56 votes, and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) with 52 votes.
Anyamelum LGA: Out of 18,131 total votes cast (with 89,388 registered voters and 18,386 accredited voters), the Labour Party (LP) also leads with 17,032 votes, followed by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) with 405 votes, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) with 245 votes, Young Progressive Party (YPP) with 101 votes, the All Progressives Congress (APC) with 145 votes, and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) with 21 votes.
