Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, has made a bold call for acceptance from women, urging them to recognize her as one of their own.

In a recent video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Idris, often at the center of controversy due to her transgender identity, expressed her desire for women to embrace her as a member of their community rather than viewing her as male.

“I can see a lot of women coming out to say a lot of things. I love women; they are the most powerful gender in the world. I am not here to label them in any way. Women have no choice; you guys have to accept me into the sisterhood. I am part of the sisterhood already. Deal with it,” Bobrisky asserted.

This statement follows a wave of controversies surrounding Bobrisky’s recognition as the best-dressed female at the movie premiere of Eniola Ajao, which sparked debates and criticism.

“I was nominated by three female judges as the best-dressed female. Leave Uncle Femi Adebayo alone. Women have no other choice than to accept me as one of them,” she declared defiantly.

Bobrisky’s plea for acceptance underscores the ongoing conversation around gender identity and societal norms, challenging traditional perceptions and calling for inclusivity within the diverse spectrum of womanhood.
