The house of assembly election in Anambra State is already witnessing the early arrival of INEC ad-hoc officials and voting materials in some of the polling units visited.

These include the four polling units at Ogbugbankwa square in Awka ward six, where the election started at precisely 8 am.

This is an improvement on the presidential and national assembly elections, which started late in most polling units.

The situation is similar at Agulu Ward 3, polling units 001, 002, 003. INEC staff are waiting for the electorate, who are coming in gradually.
