People in Peter Obi’s town, Agulu, Anambra State, have shunned the ongoing state house of assembly elections.

Some say they decided to shun the election because they are disappointed with how INEC conducted the February 25 presidential election when the commission failed to keep its promise of transmitting the results electronically.

Our correspondent reports that Nkwo Agulu, a popular market in the town, is in full operation as buying and selling are going on like other days.

Meanwhile, others claim they had voted before resuming economic activities at the market, which is unlikely because voting commences only after accreditation is completed.
