The AfCFTA Secretariat, in collaboration with the Korea Africa Foundation (KAF), has officially opened applications for its 2026 Startup Acceleration & Partnership Program.
This flagship initiative is designed to identify high-potential African startups and equip them with the tools necessary for international market expansion.
By aligning with the broader objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area, the program seeks to drive industrial development and advance intra-African trade.
It focuses on enabling local businesses to compete globally while fostering innovation across the continent’s most critical economic sectors.

Application requirements and eligibility

The program is specifically targeting startups operating within AfCFTA priority sectors.
These include Fintech, E-commerce, Logistics, Agri-tech, Manufacturing, and Digital platforms, ensuring that the participants contribute to the continent’s digital and industrial transformation.
Interested founders must submit a comprehensive application package that includes a completed form and a detailed business plan.
The submission must also include supporting documents such as a Startup Partnership Plan and a Program Expenditure Plan.
