The Platform Young Professionals Bootcamp (YPB) has officially opened applications for its 2026 residential program, calling on ambitious Nigerians to join a transformative leadership and enterprise experience.
This year, the initiative will select 300 high-performing candidates from a nationwide pool to undergo an intensive three-day bootcamp in Lagos.
The program is designed to equip the next generation of leaders with the critical skills and mentorship needed to drive innovation within the Nigerian economy.
Participants will choose from three specialized workstreams: Corporate Career, Entrepreneurship, or the Creative Industry.
Each track is curated to provide world-class practical training and tools essential for thriving in the modern marketplace.
Funding and benefits
Fellows with existing businesses or ventures stand a chance to pitch for a share of a massive N150 million seed grant pool.
This funding is specifically designed to support and scale innovative enterprises that solve real problems within the country.
Beyond potential funding, the program is entirely free to attend after selection.
Successful candidates will be provided with on-site accommodation, feeding, and all necessary training materials for the duration of the stay, though they must cover their own transportation to Lagos.
The bootcamp also offers direct access to world-class industry mentors and a networking community of over 1,500 alumni.
Fellows will learn from established leaders in business, corporate, and creative fields to help accelerate their long-term career trajectories.
Application requirements and eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria aged between 20 and 35 years by June 2026.
Prospective fellows should be either final-year students or graduates from a tertiary institution who demonstrate a “burning desire” to solve problems and thrive in Nigeria.
Deadline
Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the official YPB portal to submit their applications.
While the bootcamp is slated for June 2026, applicants should monitor the official program timeline for specific closing dates and pre-bootcamp virtual activities.
