The Conservation, Food & Health Foundation has announced its latest rounds of funding, inviting organizations to submit concept applications for projects aimed at improving the global state of conservation and public health.
This two-phase process begins with a short concept application, allowing the foundation to select a limited number of high-impact projects for full proposals.
Funding and benefits
Successful applicants will move from an initial concept phase to a potential grant award following a rigorous review process.
Grantees benefit from financial support distributed twice a year, with awards for the first cycle issued on July 1 and the second cycle on December 1.
Beyond direct funding, the foundation provides a structured timeline that helps organizations plan their project implementation effectively.
The invitation-only proposal phase ensures that selected projects receive focused attention and feedback from the foundation’s reviewers.
Application requirements and eligibility
Organizations must use the foundation’s online portal to submit their concept applications during specific open windows.
To access the system, all applicants are required to use the unique access code CFHgrants.
International organizations without a U.S. Tax ID are eligible and should use the placeholder code 12-1234567 during registration.
Applicants are restricted to submitting only one application per review cycle to ensure a fair evaluation of all competing concepts.
The foundation notifies all applicants regarding their status within one month of the concept application deadline.
Those invited to the second stage will then have one month to prepare and submit a comprehensive full proposal.
Deadline
For the first cycle, the concept application window closes on December 22.
The second cycle of the year opens on May 1 and accepts concept applications until the June 15 deadline.
If a deadline happens to fall on a weekend or a U.S. holiday, the cutoff is automatically extended to the next business day.
Prospective applicants can preview the concept application requirements at any time through the foundation’s website to prepare their submissions in advance.
