The Univeristy of California Berkeley Journalism is offering a fellowship program to support in-depth journalism projects focused on psychedelics.

The program is open to print and audio journalists worldwide, and they are seeking stories in English.

The focus of the fellowship is on psychedelic journalism, and the aim is to support innovative and in-depth reporting on this topic. The program seeks to promote quality journalism and provide opportunities for journalists to explore this emerging field.

Funding and benefits of the Psychedelic Journalism Fellowship

Ten $10,000 reporting grants are issued per year, and the funding can be used to cover reporting costs and living expenses.

The fellowship also provides opportunities for networking and professional development.

Eligibility Criteria

People who can apply:

  • – Print and audio journalists with three published or aired work samples
  • – International applications are welcome
  • – Not a full-time employee of UC campuses
  • – Not a CA News fellow from UC Berkeley Journalism School

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit:

  • – A well-researched and compelling story pitch
  • – Three published or aired work samples
  • – A resume including two references
  • – A letter from a media outlet expressing interest in publishing or airing the story (optional)
