The Peace of Mind Foundation (PoM) is inviting organisations to apply for grants to implement Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) projects for children affected by conflict, crisis and displacement.

The call targets interventions that strengthen emotional wellbeing, build resilience and support long-term recovery for young people living in traumatic environments.

Focus

PoM seeks initiatives rooted in community leadership and cultural understanding, built on structured, evidence-based approaches.

Priority will be given to projects offering trauma-informed care, group-based healing activities, safe and inclusive spaces, and capacity strengthening for caregivers and frontline workers.

The overarching goal is to support children and families with services that are practical, accessible, and culturally relevant.

Funding details

Grant awards range from $50,000 to $150,000 USD, providing significant support for programmes poised to deliver measurable psychosocial impact.

Eligible activities may include:

  • Therapeutic or counselling sessions.

  • Arts, play or music-based healing.

  • Peer-support groups.

  • Training for teachers, caregivers, and community practitioners.

Successful grantees will also join PoM’s global network of MHPSS partners.

Who can apply

The call is open to:

  • Local NGOs and community-based organisations.

  • Refugee- or youth-led groups.

  • Regional and international NGOs with strong community ties.

Priority will go to organisations with experience in child-centred MHPSS, strong safeguarding systems, and transparent monitoring and evaluation practices.

Applicants must:

  • Work directly with children affected by conflict or crisis

  • Have experience in MHPSS or related protection programming

  • Demonstrate strong child safeguarding standards

  • Commit to community participation and evidence-based interventions

  • Provide cost-effective project plans with measurable outcomes

Application requirements

Applicants should clearly outline their programme model, methodology, implementation timeline and expected results.

Proposals that highlight cultural adaptation, community involvement, and solid monitoring strategies will be more competitive.

Evidence of organisational capacity and past results in similar contexts will further strengthen submissions.

Deadline

Applications close on January 15, 2026. Visit the Peace of Mind Foundation website to apply.
