Nominations are now open for the Global Water Awards, giving companies, utilities, innovators and project teams working in water, wastewater and desalination an opportunity to gain global recognition.

The awards honour organisations and initiatives that are reshaping the water sector with practical, measurable results.

They recognise efforts that improve efficiency, strengthen financial sustainability, advance technology or deliver environmental and social benefits.

Award benefits

Although the Global Water Awards do not provide direct grant funding, winners receive one of the most respected forms of recognition in the global water industry.
Award recipients gain international visibility, enhanced credibility and increased opportunities for partnerships and investment.

Who can apply

Nominations are open to individuals, firms, utilities and organisations working across any segment of the water cycle.
Anyone may submit a nomination—either for themselves or on behalf of a project or innovation.

  • Infrastructure developers and project teams

  • Desalination specialists

  • Research groups or industry organisations

  • Any entity delivering measurable contributions to the water sector

How to apply

All nominations must be submitted through the official online form available on the Global Water Intelligence website. Applications close on February 27, 2026.
Entries should include a clear summary of achievements, supporting evidence, and information that demonstrates innovation or impact.
