The NGO Whisperer has opened applications for its Global Fellowship Programme, a seven-month virtual initiative designed to strengthen the leadership capacity of founders and executives working in NGOs and social enterprises.
The programme targets individuals in low- and middle-income countries who are already driving meaningful community impact but need stronger tools, networks and strategic guidance to scale their work.
Focus
The fellowship is built around developing practical leadership skills, sharpening strategic thinking and supporting organisational resilience.
Participants are taken through real-world challenges facing civil society groups—from fundraising barriers and governance gaps to community engagement and operational efficiency.
The overall goal is to help social sector leaders operate more effectively, make informed decisions and expand their impact in a measurable and sustainable way.
Benefits
Over the seven-month programme, selected fellows receive one-on-one mentorship, personalised coaching and targeted guidance tailored to their organisation’s needs.
Fellows will participate in expert-led masterclasses, join a global alumni network and receive a complimentary pass to the NGO Whisperer Global Summit.
The fellowship also provides international visibility through features in the NGO Whisperer Magazine and Podcast, offering participants a platform to showcase their work to a broader global audience.

The fellowship is open to leaders who have demonstrated a clear commitment to improving their communities through structured organisations.
Eligible applicants include:
