Technovation, in partnership with Generation Unlimited, has launched the AI Ventures Accelerator—a free 12-week programme designed to help young women transform their AI-driven ideas into investor-ready ventures.

The programme focuses on equipping participants with technical knowledge, an entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills to build real-world solutions that drive social and economic impact.

Focus

The initiative aims to close the gender gap in artificial intelligence by providing young women with access to practical AI education, mentorship and business development training.

Participants will learn to design AI applications, train machine learning models, and create web or mobile prototypes. They will also develop essential entrepreneurial skills to help them successfully launch and sustain their startups.

Funding details

The accelerator offers strong incentives to support early-stage innovators. The top 10 teams will each receive $10,000 in equity-free seed funding, while the top 25 teams will continue to receive incubation support and access to investors after the programme.

All participants will benefit from free learning materials, mentorship and digital tools, ensuring equal opportunities regardless of technical experience or financial background.

Who can apply

The accelerator is open to young women who meet the following criteria:

● Aged 19–24 years
● Reside in India, Nigeria, Mexico or the United States
● Able to commit 10–15 hours per week for the full 12 weeks
● Working in teams of 2–4 (solo founders are also welcome.)
● Have a strong AI-based idea or interest in entrepreneurship
● No prior AI or coding experience required

Application process

Applicants must submit a proposal outlining their business idea, the problem it seeks to solve and how AI can be used to create meaningful impact.

Proposals should also highlight the team’s motivation, commitment and potential for growth. Selected teams will gain access to mentorship, technical guidance and online workshops throughout the programme.

Deadline

Proposals should be submitted not later than November 30, 2025. Visit the Technovation website to apply.
