The Skyewise Empowerment and Advancement Foundation (SEAF) has announced the opening of applications for its 2025 Skyewise Foundation Entrepreneurship Grant, a flagship programme under the Meet the CEOs 5.0 Conference.
The initiative is designed to support young entrepreneurs and early-stage startups across Nigeria that are leveraging innovation to drive social impact, economic growth, and sustainability.
Focus
The grant seeks to empower promising founders who are addressing real-world challenges through creative and scalable business solutions.
By investing in startups within key development sectors, the Foundation aims to strengthen Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and nurture ideas capable of transforming communities and industries.
Priority areas
This year’s edition will focus on innovations in the following sectors:

Agriculture Value Chain & Food Security (AgriTech): Leveraging technology to improve farming practices, logistics and food systems.

Education & Digital Learning (EdTech): Expanding access to quality education through digital tools and platforms.
-
Healthcare & Wellness (HealthTech): Enhancing accessibility and efficiency in healthcare delivery.
-
Open Innovation & Emerging Impact Ventures: Supporting cross-sector solutions that deliver measurable social or environmental benefits.
Eligibility
The grant opportunity is open to Nigerian early-stage startups that meet the following requirements:

Must have been in operation for at least six months.

Must be officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

Must provide a valid ID for the founder or CEO.
-
Must submit 3–6 months of financial records or bank statements.

Must present a comprehensive business plan outlining the problem, solution, target market, and growth strategy.

Must include a personal statement detailing the founder’s motivation and long-term vision.
Funding details
Winners of the Skyewise Foundation Entrepreneurship Grant will receive financial support to strengthen their operations and scale their impact.
What’s more, selected participants will gain access to mentorship, investor networks and increased business visibility during the Meet the CEOs 5.0 Conference.
Evaluation process
Shortlisted startups will proceed to the Boardroom Pitch on 18 November 2025 at the Skyewise Group Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja.
Each founder will have ten minutes to pitch their business idea, followed by a five-minute Q&A session with the judges.
Final winners will be announced during the grand closing ceremony of Meet the CEOs 5.0 on 29 November 2025.
