The Umi For Mothers Mentorship Programme supports African mothers with children aged 0 to 3 who want to thrive both at home and in their careers.
The programme offers a space for mothers to connect with others, access valuable resources, and grow as professionals while remaining attentive parents.
Aims
The goal is to pair new mothers with experienced mentors who have successfully balanced parenting and professional life.
Over a three-month virtual programme, participants receive guidance, join a small peer community of fellow mothers and take part in workshops focused on mental and physical health, career growth and relationships.

While the programme does not offer direct financial support, participants benefit from:
-
One-on-one mentorship with experienced professionals
-
Peer networking in a “mini-circle” of four mothers
-
Weekly workshops and discussion sessions
-
Access to curated resources that support both motherhood and professional development
