Applications open for 2026 Zimbabwe TVET Bursary programme

The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Zimbabwe, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation (Phase II Programme), has announced the call for applications for the 2026 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) bursary scheme.

The initiative aims to empower young Zimbabweans by removing financial barriers to vocational and technical education, strengthening the country’s skilled workforce.

Funding

The bursary covers key educational costs for the 2026 academic year.  Applicants should review the full application package for detailed funding information.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be 15–25 years old at the time of application.

  • Have completed O-Level or A-Level examinations in Zimbabwe.

  • Meet the entry requirements of an accredited TVET institution in Zimbabwe.

  • Not be receiving any other bursary or scholarship.

  • Be applying for a 2–3-year STEM-related course at an approved TVET institution.

  • Priority is given to students with disabilities, special needs, refugees, orphans and individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.

How to apply

  • Application forms are available at Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education District Offices across Zimbabwe’s ten provinces.

  • Forms can also be downloaded here or completed online via this Google Form.

All applications should be submitted by 30 October 2025.
