Access Bank has opened the 7th edition of its womenpreneur pitch-a-ton, which is targeted at women entrepreneurs all over Nigeria and across the globe.
Since its inception, the scheme has empowered thousands of women-owned businesses in sundry industries across the African continent.
Combining capacity-building training and financial investment, the programme is steadily creating inclusion and development for women in commerce.
The programme combines IFC-certified Mini-MBA training and mentorship as well as business coaching, including up to ₦17 million in grants. This in-depth mentorship provides the requisite tools to help women scale their businesses sustainably.
Eligibility
According to Access Bank, 120 women will be chosen to participate in this year’s training, offered in conjunction with the International Finance Corporation, or IFC.
The programme is open to female entrepreneurs aged 18 to 55. Interested applicants should own at least 50% of a registered business that has been operational for one year or more. Additionally, applicants must hold either an individual or business account with Access Bank.
