UN Tourism, in partnership with the G20 under the Brazilian Presidency, has launched a global challenge to support innovative tourism projects. The competition—”Empowering sustainable, inclusive and green solutions for social impact”—seeks to identify worldwide initiatives that use the tourism sector to create positive social change.
Benefits
Winners will:
- Present their projects at a high-level G20 event.
- Gain access to the UN Tourism network of experts.
- Receive mentorship, tailored support and global visibility.
Eligibility
The challenge is open to:
- Entrepreneurs, startups, or established companies.
- Destinations and social impact organisations.
Projects must be innovative, scalable, and replicable in other regions. All submissions must be aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
