The Global Financial Facility (GFF) × CIVIC Platform is looking for groups of civil society organizations (CSOs) to send in applications for funding.
This is for work that helps communities have a stronger voice in getting local money for better health and nutrition for mothers, children, and young people.
The main focus is on community-led projects that can be added into national health systems. The goal is to make sure young people get fair and better access to health and nutrition services.
If your group has an idea that already works well in your community, this is your chance to make it bigger and help more people. This grant is for scaling up what is already proven to help.
The program will run for two years and will help winners grow their projects so they can be part of the country’s main health system and service delivery. This will help improve care for young people, mothers, newborns, and children.
Requirements
- Global organisations are welcome to apply
- The GFF × CIVIC wants applications from consortia—a group of different CSOs working as one team. This aligns with its belief that working together makes a bigger difference.
- In every consortium, one CSO must be choosen as the leader. This leader will be in charge of managing the money and making sure the project follows the rules.
-
To apply, your group must be a legally registered nonprofit organization.
-
You must also be allowed to receive foreign funding under the laws of your country.
- It is a plus if the groups include youth-focused organizations.
Funding and Other Benefits
- The total money available for all grants is about US $5 million. This will be shared among the winning consortia.
- Each funded project will run for up to two years. The grant will help pay for growing your proven community project and making it part of the national health system.
