UNESCO is now accepting applications for its 2025 Quantum Technology Course, designed specifically for early-career African women scientists. This fully funded initiative aims to strengthen the participation of women in advanced scientific fields by equipping them with in-depth knowledge of quantum science and technology.

Organized in partnership with the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), the course offers a rare opportunity for women researchers with backgrounds in physics, engineering, computer science, and related fields to gain hands-on experience and training in cutting-edge quantum technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to women scientists residing in Africa.

  • Applicants must hold a PhD or be currently enrolled in a PhD program in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines.
