The Generation Google Scholarship has now opened applications for women and girls pursuing computer science degrees to excel in technology and become leaders in the field.
The Generation Google Scholarship for Women in Computer Science will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate’s demonstrated leadership, academic performance, and financial need.
Selected students will receive a 7,000 EUR award (or local equivalent) for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Who qualifies?
- Students currently enrolled as a full-time student in a bachelor’s program at an accredited university or college for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Those hwo intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student in a bachelor’s program at an accredited university in Europe, Middle East or Africa for the 2025-2026 academic year
- You must be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field
- You must demonstrate leadership, a strong academic record, and financial need
- Demonstrate financial need
Application involves completing the online application (see link below) and uploading the necessary documents: your resume/CV, two letters of recommendation, and your academic transcripts from your current institution.
