Project consortia are invited to submit proposals for the Climate Services for Risk Reduction in Africa (CS4RRA) Initiative, a programme aimed at developing pathways to climate resilience across West Africa.
The initiative welcomes proposals from consortia made up of partners from West African countries and from African and European countries represented within the Group of Funding Parties (GFP). Projects should promote long-term multinational cooperation and joint capacity development.
Objectives
The CS4RRA Initiative aims to:

Thematic Priorities
Projects must address one or more of the following themes:

Participating Countries
Eligible West African countries include:
Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.
Consortium Criteria

Each consortium must include at least three partners: two institutions from different West African countries and one from a European country.

The lead applicant must be based in a West African country.

All partners must be eligible for funding under the regulations of their national funding agencies.
