Following its partnership with the SkillUP Artisans (SUPA) training programme, the federal government welcomes applications from Nigerian artisans.
The scheme, which is a joint initiative of the Federal Government and the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), aims to train 10 million artisans over the next two years. The ITF will coordinate the programme.
This scholarship is seen as a strategic move to counter the growing scarcity of qualified artisans brought about by the preference for white-collar jobs. Along with a licence, participants will also get access to essential toolkits during the course of the programme.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be Nigerian.
- Applicants must be open to acquiring any one of the skills offered by the program.
